The work that Marlene finds most gratifying is her work with women in transition, specifically those going through changes in their relationships, including separation, divorce, family dynamics, work balance as well as aging parents.
She has an extensive background in helping individuals and professionals explore their passions, values, strengths, and core beliefs. She is also a volunteer at Good Grief in Morristown, New Jersey, where she helps facilitate families that have lost a loved one.
Prior to launching her coaching career, Marlene spent 30 years within the medical field, working with patients dealing with major life changes as well as physicians struggling to find a work/life balance. As a patient care coordinator, she’s able to enhance the patient and physician experience, by engaging the patient in a caring, positive, safe environment, which in turn allows the physician to spend quality time with them.
Marlene’s passion for fitness also led to her becoming a fitness coach. Within this role, she helped people overcome their mental hurdles to reach their maximum physical potential. Through encouragement and education, Marlene has helped countless people become their best versions of themselves.
Marlene’s coaching certification came through iPEC, which is an accredited program of the coaching industry’s overseer, International Coach Federation (ICF).
