Bleakley Financial Group continued their support for animal causes by being a sponsor of the Pumpkins & Puppies Pumpkin Patch event held by Desert Tails, a local animal shelter based out of Scottsdale, AZ whose mission is to help provide dogs with a second chance by finding them their forever home.  The Pumpkin Patch event was held at a local Barbecue Restaurant, Frasher's Smokehouse.  During the month long fundraiser, 30 dogs and puppies found their forever home or were in the process of foster to adopt.  They also sold around 2,000 pumpkins, totaling over $13,000 in proceeds for the shelter.    

Helping local animal shelters in the Scottsdale area has been a personal mission for Principal of Bleakley Financial Group, Scott Schwartz - "Desert tails is an independent shelter run by Adama Pfaff along with a small group of volunteers. They rescue, care for, and rehome several hundred dogs every year. They do all this on a shoe string budget. Adama’s commitment and that of her cadre of volunteers is inspiring. My wife and I are proud to support their amazing work."

Desert Tails is a more than 7000-square-foot shelter in Scottsdale that also has grooming, dog training, and volunteer opportunities.  Since 2012, they've saved more than 7000 pets from euthanasia and helped them find loving, fur-ever homes.
