Bleakley Donates to Help Tornado Victims in Kentucky
December 29th, 2021 - Earlier this month, Kentucky was slammed by a series of tornadoes that caused massive damage and led to 77 reported deaths across the state. Relief organizations have been working day and night to help provide some assistance to the hundreds of people who lost their homes and livelihood from the devastating storm.
Bleakley was happy to help in any way possible and made a donation to help the tornado victims of Kentucky. Last week, the Harrodsburg Baptist Church, sent 4 teams out to deliver supplies to Bowling Green, Dawson Springs, Mayfield, and Princeton, which all experienced a significant impact from the tornadoes. Half the donation was used to purchase 2 generators and supplies, including water, hygiene items, baby care supplies, and tarps. The other half of the donation was held back and put into a rebuilding fund which will be gifted to families in need once the rebuilding begins.
We would like to thank the volunteers of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church for their dedication, hard work, and getting our funds into the areas that were impacted to help those who are most in need. Our thoughts are with the families who lost loved ones across the state and we hope our donation will be able to help once the rebuilding begins.
