    On June 21st, 2021, Bleakley Financial Group was proud to co-sponsor the 32nd Annual Caldwell University Golf Outing held at Essex Fells Country Club in Essex Fells, NJ. It was a great day of golf in support of the Bruce Gallagher Memorial Scholarship.   

    Bruce Gallagher served as an assistant basketball coach at Caldwell University for 6 years and was instrumental in the Cougars' success as the the team won three CACC Tournament titles during his time coaching.  Bruce unexpectedly passed away in 1998 and in his honor, The Bruce Gallagher Memorial Scholarship was established. Due to his coaching tenure at Nutley High School, the scholarship is awarded each year to a Nutley student who enrolls at Caldwell University.
