The Bleakley Team Participates in the 16th Annual Sgt. Nutter Run
On Saturday, June 27th, the Bleakley team came together in Spring Lake, NJ to participate in the 16th Annual Sgt. Nutter Run/Walk.
The SGT Sam Nutter Organization, INC. (SSNO) is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization administered by the Officer Candidate School of the New Jersey Army National Guard. The SSNO was established in the memory of Sergeant Sam Nutter, and organizes the annual Nutter Run 5K Fundraiser to benefit Army National Guard families in need.
This year's beneficiary was Captain Joseph Sebastian Cecere III who served in the U.S. Navy from 1996-1999, the U.S. Army Reserve from 1999-2004, and the U.S. Army National Guard from 2006-2019. Joseph sadly passed away in 2019, leaving behind two children, Zoe and Eva. One hundred percent of the proceeds from this year's race/run will go to his children.
